The 2016 Men’s Final Olympic Qualification Group D will be played at the multipurpose complex Minsk Arena that officially opened in January 2010 with the 2nd KHL All-Star Game and since then has hosted a number of high-profile ice hockey tournaments, the most significant of them being the 2014 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in May 2014. The 15.000-seat Minsk Arena is home to Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League and has repeatedly been named the second most attended ice hockey arena in Europe. The complex also includes 2 practice rinks, a speed-skating stadium and a velodrome.
