Belarus stays in TOP-10 of World Ranking

IIHF released the updated standings

The 2017 IIHF Men's World Ranking takes into account the placings at the World Championships between 2014 and 2017 as well as the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

1. Canada - 3225 points (0 - movement in comparison to the previous Ranking)

2. Russia - 3105 (0)

3. Sweden - 3080 (+2)

4. Finland - 3060 (-1)

5. USA - 2980 (-1)

6. Czech Republic - 2900 (0)

7. Switzerland - 2705 (0)

8. Germany - 2660 (+2)

9. Norway - 2535 (+2)

10.Belarus - 2535 (- 1)

Complete version of the 2017 Men's World Ranking

Though Belarus and Norway have the same overall points, the most recent final ranking of teams in a category determines the ranking order. Norway became 11th at the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship and Belarus occupied the 13th place in the final standings of the tournament.
